つぎ、ホストファミリーはローリーを 宮島みやじまれて きました。 その はあつくて むしむししていました。 しまいて、ローリーは 景色けしきていました。ボートが うみプカプカ かんで、 みずキラキラかがやいていました。 さかなうみから バシャびはねていました。

The next day, the family takes Roary to the nearby Miyajima Island for a day trip. The weather there is very hot and humid. When on the island, Roary takes in the scenery, watching a boat rock in the bay and the water sparkling around it. In the bay a fish jumps out of the water.
Tsugi no hi, hosutofamirii wa Roorii o Miyajima ni tsureteikimashita. Sono hi wa atsukute mushimushi shiteimashita. Shima ni tsuite, Roorii wa keshiki o miteimashita. Booto ga umi ni pukapuka ukande, mizu wa kirakira to kagayaite imashita. Sakana wa umi kara basha to tobi haneteimashita.


ローリーが うみていると、 ちいさい なみ砂浜すなはまざざっせていました。

He stares into the bay as small waves break around the island, making a small splashing sound.
