I am a senior at Ball State University majoring in Secondary English Education. I am also a member of the Honors College, and minoring in Military Science and English as a Second Language. I have published works of poetry, acted in plays, and spent a great amount of time traveling abroad. I contributed to the translation and recording of The Man of Law’s Tale. Undertaking this project was both very challenging and rewarding, and I hope that future students find this website both useful and informative.

I am a senior Philosophy major. I contributed to the translation and close reading of The Cook’s Prologue and Tale. I also helped produce all the material on this site for the Man of Law’s Tale, its prologues, and its epilogue. I really enjoyed getting to research the Man of Law’s tale closely and analyze the theme of religion within it. Getting to learn about how different religions were viewed in Chaucer’s time and comparing this to the treatment of people from different religions now was a fascinating and rewarding experience.
