The Wife of Bath's Team

Taylor Conley

I am a junior Elementary Education major. For The Cook’s Prologue and Tale I contributed to the translation, annotated bibliography, and the close reading. I also contributed to the translation, annotated bibliography, close reading, and audio recording for The Wife of Bath’s Prologue and Tale. I helped in the creation of the Omeka site and created the artwork that is featured on the site, as well as providing the image descriptions. I really enjoyed my time spent on this project and gaining a greater understanding of Chaucer and his work.

Hannah Gunnell

I am a senior journalism major who helped produce the translation and close readings for The Cook’s Prologue, The Cook’s Tale, The Wife of Bath’s Prologue and Tale. I also compiled sources and wrote annotated bibliographies for the sources. I am also co-writer and editor of the text uploaded to the website, meaning I co-wrote the mission statement and about us page and oversaw that the text in each story’s page is uniform. I really enjoyed the reading and analysis of each tale.

Carolyn Woodruff

I am a senior elementary education major. I contributed to the translation, close reading, audio recording and annotated bibliography for The Cook’s Tale. I also helped write the translation, close reading, and annotated bibliography for The Wife of Bath’s Tale, as well as acting as her voice in the audio translation. I have enjoyed working on this project and learning more about The Canterbury Tales. This project has contributed to my honors college experience at Ball State University.
