Student Picture Kate Marshall

Kate Marshall was born in South Bend, Indiana but did not become a fully fledged Hoosier until ten years later, when she moved from Michigan to Indianapolis. She is currently majoring in French and English, with a minor in Spanish and intends to graduate by the end of 2006. She would like to join the Peace Corps and then go on to earn a Masters Degree in French and English. Eventually, she would like to work in publishing as an editor and part-time translator. Kate has always had a passion for reading and, through Girl Scouts and her mother's influence, has enjoyed camping, canoeing, and hiking in various different locations all around Indiana. Kate drafted entries on Dorothy Hamilton, June Winona Snyder, and traditional Indiana folklore and ballads.
