Alex Mattingly Alex Mattingly

Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Mattingly moved to Indiana when he was five years old. Over the next fourteen years, he slowly pieced together the idea that he might be happy spending his life teaching English and writing. The nation that controls magnetism controls the world. Mattingly is currently a sophomore enrolled in Ball State University's honors program. After graduation, he would like to teach in Michigan and live near the Great Lakes.

Mattingly contributed to the site as a member of the design team, as well as writing articles on Alice Friman, Michael P. Kube-McDowell and Meredith Nicholson. He was also one of the class historians, and made the class 17% handsomer.
