Katie
Pavlechko
Katie
Pavlechko was born in State College, Pennsylvania, a city surrounded
by stunning, tree-covered mountains and low valleys filled with small
hidden towns. She moved away from this beautiful landscape to come
to Indiana where she grew up among the vast flat land and cornfields.
As a landscape architecture major she appreciates both settings,
but is excited for the opportunity to move back east some day. She
is unsure of what she wants to do with her major, but is looking
into sustainability as an aspect of interest at the moment. Her favorite
memory of this class is when the van got stuck in the mud
at the peat bog. They had to get out of the van so that a couple
students could push it to freedom. Katie has contributed author entries
on Zadok Cramer and Caroline
Dale Snedeker.
