He was a member of the design team for the Our Land, Our Literature website, as well as the author of the Theodore Dreiser, Ernie Pyle, and Jean Garrigue entries, and a series of poetry and prose entitled my indiana=your indiana=our indiana, reflecting life in the Hoosier state. Having been born in Kokomo and lived in Noblesville, Ryan is a native of central Indiana. He has studied and written about Modernist poetry and Postmodern prose, and recently completed a hyper-criticism project on William Burroughs’ Nova Trilogy. He is also currently a co-editor and web designer for the Ball State University English Department undergraduate literary journal on the Internet, the broken plate.
