September 29, 1922:  Klan Member Speaks at African American Church

A Klansman named Bill Cahill spoke at an African American church in Muncie.  His purpose was to encourage African Americans to vote Republican.  Without the African American vote, the Klan stood a good chance of loosing the elections.  Cahill allegedly gave the pastor of the church $40.
