1926:  Greathouse vs.  Board of School Commissioner of City of Indianapolis

The city of Indianapolis attempted to build an all-African American high school in a primarily white neighborhood.  The city was sued (by Greathouse) to stop construction because of fears that Caucasians would flea the neighborhood.  The Indiana Supreme Court refused to halt construction and Crispus Attucks High School was built.
