April 4, 1968:  Robert Kennedy Spoke on Martin Luther King’s Assassination

During a campaign stop in Muncie, Robert Kennedy learned that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. had been assassinated.  He quickly traveled to Indianapolis, where he spoke to a crowd gathered in a park.  He delivered the news of King’s death and used his eloquence to successfully prevent the crowd from rioting.  Two months after this speech, Kennedy was assassinated.
