1997: Klan Rally in New Castle

The American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan protested against affirmative action, the news media, police officers, property taxes, Blacks, Jews, and Catholics.  Klan members marched through downtown New Castle.  The police counted 72 Klan supporters and 112 opponents.  There were over 300 police officers at the rally to provide security.
