Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them

By A. Rey Pamatat

Edith is a 12 year old girl who is taken care of by only her 16 year old brother Kenny, and partly by his newly secret boyfriend Benji. Kenny explores his new and unfair responsibilities put on by a neglectful father. Kenny and Benji dodge the battles of homophobia while Edith gets sent to a private school after shooting her step mother on accident with an airsoft rifle. By the end of the play Edith returns to home and Kenny steps up to his father while also accepting the responsibility of taking care of his sister in the way that she needed most.
