Matt and Luke are on the wrestling team and are getting ready for State. They are also best friends, and a rumor is started that they’re gay. The boys, along with the rest of the characters, are dealing with rumors and spreading gossip. The friends must try and ignore the rumors, train for wrestling, and make it through high school. Luke gets beaten up (either for being potentially gay or to remove him as a competitive threat). The play is set-up on a wrestling match, intentionally does not label any character’s sexuality, and also includes extensive post-show activities.
