Gabriel Jason Dean
Doodle, a fifth-grader who recently moved to Santa Ana with his mother and imaginary goat Valencia, is stuck at home on Halloween while his mother works. He meets Reno, a neighbor his age who enjoys wearing dresses. At first, Doodle doesn’t understand Reno. However, as they face the neighborhood bullies together, he learns more about him and begins to understand.
