Cameron and Calum are best friends that dream of becoming film-makers, with the play being modeled on a self-narrated movie. The play focuses on their friend group dealing with the pressure to have sex, to express their love, and to confront the conflicts between them. Calum and many of his friends bully Ben for being gay and, shortly after, Cameron kisses Ben and shares his feelings with him. Calum witnesses this and gets drunk, beats up Cameron, and struggles with his own relationship with his girlfriend. Ben and Cameron decide to go to the school dance together, where many of the friend group’s interpersonal conflicts resolve and Cameron and Calum reaching a better understanding of their friendship.
