With characters mirroring those of Snow White’s story, it is the school Homecoming Dance and these high schoolers are captivated by the beauty of a new girl, Rose. Rose is trans in her new town, where the people will not even dare to say the word gay. Rose’s goal to steal the mean girl’s boyfriend starts to take action and after homecoming, we see that Rose used to go to this school before they began their transition as Roy. The students begin to piece together their old friend as Rose questions their thinking and their old ways to see that they’re still worth the friendships
