Ophelia is an awkward high schooler who happens to be friends with Kimberly, one of the most popular girls in school. But when Ophelia starts noticing poems on a board in the locker room, she starts anonymously replying. This conversation in poems continues until she runs into the mystery poet, Vivienne. In this encounter Ophelia realizes she is a lesbian and the girls kiss. They find comfort in having each other in a place where coming out would lead to social demise or worse.
