Resource Team

POP's resource team is responsible for creating philosophical resources for high school students and teachers.

Starter packs are online resources where students can choose a philosophical topic and be introduced to it through a variety of different types of media. Each starter pack includes an introductory paragraph on the topic, videos, podcasts, a list of key thinkers, links to key texts, and key questions. This year, the resource team has been hard at work creating new starter packs that cover topics like existentialism, philosophy of time, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of law.

The resource team also makes resources for teachers, including white pages on philosophy for children and philosophy lesson plans. These lesson plans aim to assist teachers who are interested in implementing philosophical discourse in their classrooms. This year, the resource team has created many new lesson plans on many different philosophical topics.

This year, the resource team designed a POP semiannual newsletter. This included team lead spotlights, news regarding the annual conference, advisary board, site visits, and more.
