Andrew Draper is the senior pastor at Urban Light Community Church in Muncie. He moved to Muncie’s South Central neighborhood 13 years ago after learning about the struggles the community was facing.

He, along with other community members, decided to open Urban Light as a means of addressing those issues. One of those issues is addiction.

That’s where Toddric Gordon comes in. As the community outreach pastor, he leads the Growth and Recovery group on Monday nights to help people struggling with addiction.

Draper and Gordon have both seen how addiction and meth can negatively impact a community, and specifically their congregation. They explain their own approach to handling the issue.
