Project Overview

The goal of this project was to construct and design a cross-platform application to integrate with the existing https://zooomapp.com/ platform. This new app would allow users to organize videos into comprehensive playlists with metadata such as, title, sports type, etc, and upload those playlists to the website. Additionally, the app would allow users to edit the video into smaller segments prior to uploading, avoiding lengthy upload times for unwanted content. This app also had to allow users to create playlists and edit videos offline so that users could complete work even when they did not have access to a stable internet connection.

For this project we started by providing the client with a comprehensive list of goals that we would start the project with. This included mock ups of what the app would look like, and a list of core requirements that we believed if all met would create an app that fit the clients needs.

In addition to the development of the app we also provided several different forms of documentation such as guides on how to deploy the app, how to use the app from a user perspective, and how to set up the project for future development.
