Gwendolyn Jones

Gwendolyn Jones

Through this experience, Gwendolyn was able to capture both the pretty and ugly parts of Muncie. She says that they are equally meaningful. Instead of taking pictures from a distance, she got up close and personal to the objects around Muncie. Resulting in her images telling a beautiful story.

"Through this experience, I was able to capture the beautiful things in Muncie, but I was also able to capture something as important which was the loss of industry in the city of Muncie." ~ Gwendolyn

Billy Brown

Billy is well-traveled but has always found his way back to the city of Muncie. He grew up here, and through this experience, he was able to capture the hidden gems of Muncie. His goal was to take pictures of the different sides of Muncie. Billy says that there is more than one Muncie.

"I took this experience to take pictures for myself, but also to show the representation of what's not seen in Muncie all of the time. Muncie's hidden gems." ~ Billy
