The table below, from the Muncie-Delaware County, Indiana Economic Development Alliance, list the Muncie area's largest employers as of December, 2022. As you can see, the biggest employers in Muncie are no longer industrial. Industrial giants such as Chevy, Warner Gear (BorgWarner), and Ball Brothers have fallen away, and the fields of education and healthcare have expanded.
