Introduction to the team and project
We are a part of the Computer Science Capstone that connects students to local businesses in need of software developers. Over the course of two semesters, we try our best to develop a product that suits their needs. Our team has four members: Will English, Daniel Litt, Cody Miner, and Brian Ringer.
We are partnered with Ref Reps, a company started by Kyle Armstrong. This isn't his first company working with referees, as he started the Zooom App which helps referees obtain game footage so they can practice calls. Ref Reps plans to take it a step further by helping referees train through a lesson game application.
This application will present lessons that have multiple quizzes in them to train the referees. After the referee makes a call, a video explaining the right call and how to better look out for it is shown. There are many supported sports and each has its own set of lessons.
Our job was to try and create a second application that would "build" out the lessons for the game application. So the secondary application would allow an admin to create a lesson and then upload it to the game for all users to see and play.
