Murder Mystery Dinner Event Proposal

Introduction

The location that we choose to host this event is the warehouse located in the Village Promenade. This space will allow for an open space concept that will be big enough to host the event. We will be able to have a to-go dinner table and also tables for the IU Medical Students to sit during the event.

A Murder Mystery Dinner is a way to socialize with the people while also helping solve a mystery to find out who the "murderer" is. The object of the game is to work with other people to gather important clues. Early in the game, you want to determine who your allies are because you can't trust everyone. As the night goes on there are more clues revealed and hopefully, the "murderer" is caught.

Normally a dinner would be served during the game, but instead, we have provided to-go dinners so the students can still enjoy the food portion.

Summary

Overall we want this event to be a new and exciting experience for the IU Medical Students. Since they have busy lives, we want to be able to give them a night that is fun and relaxing. They will get to have great food that is catered from around the village and also receive a goody bag to go and experience another restaurant in the village. We want this event to show the medical students what Muncie has to offer!

This event will be a great start for the students' first event of this semester. We want to give them a lasting impact and hopefully attend another fun event in the future.
